Dear Members,
The 2008 Club hunt and picnic have come and gone and we hope a good time was had by all. Approximately 70 members and guests attended. The weather was spectacular with temperature in the mid 70’s, sunshine and some cloud cover.
Our grill master Arnie did a wonderful job at cooking the burgers and dogs,
Dick Gaboury got several members to help clean the field before the hunt and with the help of Jim Cornwell and Steve Tuckers daughters seeded the fields for hunting. The first hunt featured 207 silver coins and many tokens.
The second hunt featured 503 silver coins, this was due to the Penny and Pop Can fundraiser we have been doing for the past two years. Last year the fundraiser generated 90 dollars, this year do to better membership participation the figure was 165 dollars. Please keep bringing your pennies and pop cans to the club hunts and meetings as the Christmas party is coming in December.
As you can see the web site is coming back on line slowly as we now have access to the site and someone to help manage it. Please be patient as this will take some time to complete the updates.
